The 3 Principles:

• Confidentiality: Information is accessible by authorized users ONLY!!
• Integrity: Integrity ensures the accuracy and reliability of information. Nobody should be able to change the data or modify it.
• Availability: Availability ensures that information and resources are accessible and usableby users whenever needed!

Balanced Approach...

The CIA Triad helps organizations strike a balance between security measures. It emphasizes that security should not come at the cost of usability, and vice versa. These 3 principles allow the implementation of security policies to protect the data and privacy of an individual…no matter the price.
